Using Rule of Thirds Effectively
If you were to draw lines you would be able to see that this tracker is in fact placed on the rule of thirds effectively. The attention is still drawn toward the tracker without centering it or filling the frame and also gives the photo a bit of unquie contrast.

Does Not Use Rule of Thirds Effectively
If you were to draw the lines again, in this photo, you would see that you baseball player is in fact not placed onto the rule of thirds, but is in fact centered. Although the attention if drawn toward the baseball player this is not a effectively way to take a picture because centering can be quite boring and can be used to much.

Leading The Subject In
As you can see by leading in the subject it gives the man plenty of room to where u can see where he might be going or what he might be looking at.

Does Not Lead The Subject In
By looking at this photo one can see that this does not use the leading the subject in rule because if it were it would place the nurses more to the end of the photo on the left so you could be able to see where they are walking to.
